Depends on how long ur stay there. As for AV, over there a lot hard to miss.

end of year prepare to wear at least 2 layers. almost every CD shop has a annexe with AV collections, but forget about finding pleasure there cos they dun really serve foreigners or anyone who does not speak japanese (if u get harassed in kabukicho, try speaking in english and they may let u go).Originally posted by wonderamazement:Intending to go there at the end of this year... What is there to harrass ? When you holiday in Japan people would speak to you in Japanese even if they know you dont understand Japanese.And if you do speak some Japanese they wouldnt want to understand you because your pronunciation is a bit off. -

When you are a tourist here.People will be nice to you throughout the duration of your stay because they want you to have fond memories of Japan
But if you work and live here like the FTs in Singapore,they would remind you daily that you are not really welcome here by the tone they speak to you and hope to give you bad memories so you wont go home to try to bring more of your friend and relatives to Nippon>
