its for security reasons. because a chemical agent called sarin is also a transparent liquid.
its easy to obtain, if you know where to look, and one can easily smuggle in a bottle.
just a teaspoon, can poison everyone in a room within minutes.
it affects the nervous system. you'll choke, lose your body control etc and then die.
imagine if someone bring in a bottle of it into the NDP with all the VIPs?
even in airport, its not allowed to take in bottled water or any liquid soap etc, into the plane. -
geee man gimme a break. first the airport checks, now this crap. security's getting too damn tight. is all this really necessary? if the bad guys wanna strike, they will find a way somehow, even if it takes more time and effort. that's how i feel.

Can only bring gels, aerosols and liquids in less thatn 100ml containers, you can only bring enough to 100mls that can be placed in a clear resealable bag of not more than 1 litre volume.
This clear resealable bag must be taken out separately and presented to security personnel to be inspected. -
fun pack has two bottles of newater and 2 packet of drinks.... u won't die of thirst during those few hours lor....
