  1st variety show mah , sure not the taiwan standard
  
  but thing like zhong qing accidentally cutted finger(fake) then went to comercial break , come back is fake one made me feel that everything is reherse before

  frankly, I am quite puzzled also.
  
  not only are the variety shows lame, but their serials also.
  imagine HKG doing the same, they would appear better and more real.
  
  i can see more local variety shows trying to follow taiwan but it seems not to rub off on locals.

  local production is not that good but it got local appeal. overall, there is still a small market for local production. that is why there are still celebrities.

  however, huan zi jiao is a better choice to engage compared to those existing clowns, be can't do that much to stretch his humour talent here with much restriction to comply. MY friend who is in the variety section of mediacorpse said there was this director of the variety shows, a hongkee man, resigned as there are far too many restrictions and as such the variety programmes can't progress that far.
