Wah lau ye, what you'all talking about??? Most info given here is wrong.
1. You can do fund transfer between posb and dbs OR OCBC and UOB at the ATM. For posb/dbs, use either atm cards on either ATMs. For OCBC/UOB, if u are transfering from UOB to OCBC, use your UOB ATM card at an OCBC ATM, vice versa. It's free.
Note: You CANNOT transfer between OCBC/UOB to DBS/POSB via ATM.
2. You can however do an Internet fund transfer. Its free. You can transfer to any bank in SG. It will take 2-3 working days for the funds to reach. There is however a daily limit amount you can transfer depending on bank. Mine is 5k for the local banks, 10K for the foreign banks.
3. You can do a local MEPS transfer (local TT) between banks. There will be a charge maybe $30 (chk with the bank). It will take one working day.
4. You can withdraw a cashier's order (bank issue cheque) and deposit it into the intended party's account. Payable to own name, free, payable to third party got charge (Usually $20).
