i think this Discovery episode have been around for a year.
But i am more surprised of the truth.
When you ask ppl who remembered the incident.. they normal will tell you because the developer cut corners..
which turn out not to be the case. -

i think some contractor knocked some pillars down that is not supposed to be knocked down.
or a cracked pillar was ignored. -
if i remember correctly, there's some cracks on the base of the hotel .. a few people notice it though

think is due to a mistake by the engineers. the load of the building is not calculated correctly. as times go on, the main structure of the building weaken, cracks appeared and the building collapsed.
