guardian and mortal

  Currently playing this game....
  
  what is an appropriate gift for some "background character" guy?
  
  To prevent further confusion

  guardian and mortal
  
  I tot its quite well known... its played among a group... each of us gets someone from the group (i.e. the mortal) and me (the guardian) has to be like guardian angel towards the mortal... (get gifts {cheap ones}, give advice, etc)
  
  I don't know my mortal very well, he is one of those "background characters" in the group... any ideas what to give him?

  orh this one arh.. i tot is a game..
  
  write a letter to know him better first... start off with some chocolates, always work out well..
