The NDP is essentially cho hee lah - put on show for the whole world to see how "unified" we are and rally the public oni lah.....
This year's parade s'posed to be different leh..... but it's still noy ma cup o' tea. If got absolutely nuhthin to do then watch. -

I have particpated (NS days as school usher for the band) seen it both 'live' at the scene and tv... so not going to watch it again. Haven't done so for many years.
Perhaps there was some written reasons why the pontoon was used for this years's NDP in newspaper but I find that a waste of resources. allentyb raised a point right, the money could have help the poor or something. Padang is a gd place, anytime. -
