  seriously hor... education can bring u a stable rice bowl lah..
  but seriously study isnt the alternative to get rich in sg.. a pay of a highly educated engineeer earns about 4~5k/mth whereas a not so highly educated insurance agent or property agent could easily earn a whooping 5digit commission in a mth. ive seen many of these cases.
  then businesses,im not talking about big gigantic businesses owned by billionaires,juz those ordinary ones for examples u see those u see in simlim.. some of them own 3~5shops in the square alone earning pay which is way higher than those highly educated white collars..
  not saying that education isnt important but juz stating some real life examples which i seen/know of ppl which have even medical degrees switching their fields to insurance agent,etc..
