What impression does one have when one donate to the nun (in white robe; walks around barefoot; holds a wooden bowl) ?
That the donation is meant for the temple?
That the donation is meant for charity?
That the donation is meant for herself?
This morning, I was at my 3rd-storeyed HDB kitchen when I looked down my hanged clothes to see if there's bird dropping.
I saw a nun in white robe counting $2 notes in her hand as she walked past beneath.
Her mind thinks," how much did I earn today?"
If it's meant for something else, she won't be bothered to count. She could have enjoyed the walk, rather than counting stack of $2 notes.
& the fact that she chose to walk behind the block of flats, rather than the front.
Damn it. Another scam

Then again, monks/nuns going around asking for donations is kinda dubious. -
Last time my friend told me that these nuns not suppose to beg.

Few years back, while walking home passing by a car park, I saw a monk walking towards his car, kinda new too.
It must be good business being a monk. -
The newspapers have already reported that any monk who begs for money is a fake monk. the real ones only ask for food at most but usually they dont even ask for anything.
