polyclinic got psychiatrist anot? cos i was referred to see a psy. doctor by mr adrian lau of mount elizabeth hospital human behaviour charter.

poyclinic no psychiatrist
if u don't want to see private psychiatrist
you can go to a polyclinic
tell them your problem
ask them to refer you to IMH (or other government hospital also can, like NUH if you so choose)
they will give you a letter (aka make appointment lah)
then you can see your psyhiatrst
and at subsidised rate -

Polyclinic is always very crowded. I went there at 8am and left at 11.30am.

but you never know who you will meet -
the psychologist at mount elizabeth hospital actually wanted me to get medication for insomnia or maybe depression first. but i was wondering whether there is any possibility where i can get medicine at the polyclinic when i will tell my problem to the doctor there so tt he can refer me to hospital specialist? or..i take medicine and have consultation at private specialist? will tt be more expensive though less troublesome?
the psychologist at the hospital also decided to arrange counselling for me
