About those tracking companies... okay lah, dun say I looking for excuse to do illegal downloads or what lah... just wondering about those tracking companies... and their RIGHTS...
See ar, if you use Peer2Peer software, those tracking companies can just go download from you, then most probably also can see IP Address, so if they are looking to track someone with the illegal file they are hired to catch ppl for, they just copy your IP Address and Timing of download and filename. Then report back to the person that hire them. Perfectly legal? Yep.
But hor, 1st question, they got the rights to download or distribute files using those software meh? Okay lah, maybe can say since the company tat hired them got the license to the thing, so can give them the power to distribute. But hor I tot usually those license is distributor license? Got say they can download? If never download how to distribute on p2p?
2nd hor, got this famous guy say tat maybe these tracking compani modify those software to make it cannot download or upload, oni can connect to ppl... budden if they do tat, wats to say the ppl tat connect to them not using a modified software... hold on a sec!!!! Some of tis p2p software not even open source, like Kazza... they got rights to modify?
3rdly hor, most 3rd party tracker dun work with ISP wat, tamade if ISP willing to work with the companies to track ppl down, still nid 3rd party tracker meh? That means if we dun use p2p software, by right they is cannot track us down de, unless they temper with our line right? they got rights to temper with our line meh?
4rdly, got, got another way to track direct non p2p connections, ambush lor, make 1 fake link or file... den who download who die... wait, ambushing is legal meh?
So hor, beri fishy lah, I dunno law lah... but u all go tink lah... dun say I encouraging ppl to go do direct download or wat lah, I just want ppl to see, those 3rd party trackers got these rights meh?
