Shipping Items Overseas

Anyone know how to go about ship dvds items to overseas? Never send before so therefore not sure how to go about it. Shipping to a relative oversea in Europe.

unless u specify in the consignment note tt recipient bears the shipping cost
fedex, ups those are more for corporate
for ur normal one-off shipping, it's gonna be pretty ex.......and a hassle to set up an account just for tt -
Wad about buying things online? Lets say I purchased a pair of shoes on the nike website. Payment wise is usually by credit card right?
Then delivery wise, who will undertake the delivery? Is it fedex or the overseas postage service?
And will they like ring your doorbell one day to deliever the goods to your house?

u can choose international shipping (range from US35 to US50)
or use their local shipping (usually free or very cheap), then use a forwarding service (like vpostUSA) to ship to singapore -
not sure about other services except singpost.
the recipient will know how much u pay for the postage (for standard regular mail) as the stamps will be pasted on the parcel. for speedpost, should be the same.. not too sure.
for oversea, u can choose "standard regular mail" or "speedpost", speedpost is a few times more ex. but if u are opting for "standard regular mail", is better that you opted for registered mail (additional $2.30).

rem to ask for a custom declaration sticker to declare what is inside the parcel, cost etc.. else may not pass thru their custom.
