you're supposed to wait on others. u scared legs tired then find a desk job lor, so simple. i got work as waiter before and i had to run around for 6-7 hrs str8 if busy.

Why choose to work there if you dun even like to work there in the 1st place. There is a saying: Choose a job that you like and you will never have to work a day in your life.
It is not like the current economy is very bad, shouldn't be much of a problem getting a job that u dun have to think of way to skivvied. -

They dont provide stools as it is part of the job. it's good that you're paid, otherwise asking for a place to sit will be too much. Working in healthcare is much worse than sales. I only get to sit during my lunch break. Go home also MRT got no place to sit.

Sometime after 8 hrs working wanted to go back, then kenna call back becos some stupid guy or gal never turn up, so have to work another 8 hrs with taxi fare.
Cannot sit one lah, only lunch a few minutes only, so what i did was, if doing counter servicing, just lean against the counter edge to relax abit, in kitchen will be the tables.
Ah ma and Ah pek also work there mah, they also never complain.
Now me boss liao, shake leg only. -

Anyway, my legs not used to standing for so long hours after not working for half a year... but I think give me a few weeks I get back to normal. Maybe at the old branch where I worked, we need to move more to take things but at where I'm working now, I don't need to, that's why my legs will complain after a few hours. Btw, I don't work at Mac. -
btw long hours standing is not the issue for saleline.nut i tell u is the customer that is sucks.work in sale line u need to greet them but most of the time there always say no need,see see,look at u in a kind of damn look n even say dun folo mi i have no money to buy.n even complain saying that service standard is like shit.oh god if u can handle such case saleline welcome u..
btw many paper work also price change,an many more....eat dinner in a earlier time "also customer say:its only 4pm eat dinner...got tea break lah but u have to be "automatic " not to long for a cup of tea
beware if u really want to work saleline cos is a full of shit job cos "some big shot say want to up the standard of our service standard...end up singaporean that advantage to up our standard" -
I work at a very popular lifestyle/retail store, to me it's really the working environment that helps me forget the long jours or nasty customers. if you're finding ways to slack on the job then i would think that you aren't suited for it.

When my school days , work as kicthen hand = Dishwasher for an Indian restaurant. Very popular one. U stand at the basin from 5 pm to 2 am. N the dishes wont stop coming in. They pile up!Literally piled up 2 heads higher then me. 1 dish uses like a few kinds of different plates n pots gawd damnit!
Wash until tiam.. after wash then go dishwasher then have to wipe while its still hot. After closing u wash the massive chef's pots n pans.. christ man.. i got conned that u can have break anytime as long as u finish ur work. B.S .. work dont stop till u finish and while the chefs out there sipping on Jim Beam i am still washing dishes. Then dump rubbish.
I have always believed in doing anything passed to you to the best of ur ability.. but it was getting ridiculous. Last day i just peng the tables n fuk my pay n left. After 3 months there. NEVER WORK FOR INDIANS!

i had my first vacation job as a Mail sorter
stand for 10 hours...and sort out mail..then climb 5 storeys up and 5 storeys down all the time Lunch for 1/2hr only..not even a chair or table ok...1 day work for 11hours like that leh... 6 days a week...do the same shit...have to tahan for 3 months sia...but pay ok la...$18/hr -

Lasttime me work very busy one ok, non-stop, and you must be very polite and good looking, because there are tourists from all over the world coming, so it is different and that command a different paid. If not, who want to work, even the managers are paid differently and consider higher between those local towns and orchard or city areas.
And also u need good introduction to get that paid ya. -
Dear Ah Ang, go home, dip yr feet in warm water, relax, then do some floor exercise with your legs, as time goes by you will feel better. Take up yoga, it is also good ya. Leg weakness are due to either you are old with rhumuetism, or lack of exercise, or too much sex and DIY, or diabetic, high sugar content, etc etc -
