I'd recommend you wear boxers. You'll be sitting outside the examination rooms in your underwear so you'd probably not want to wear those with holes. Don't laugh, there are many such cases.

It will not make a difference..you will still have to take them all out. Anyway, the medical checkup is just a simple process that will take just a while..after that u will proceed to take a 2 hr long test to assess your capacity to take up a leadership role in the army..So the whole process will prolly take up half your day and is somewhat the first taste of SAF's efficiency before u enter.
