knowing the person on the surface & finds him/her ok
many of us will somehow think of marriages pretty early in a r/s but it is thru a r/s that u'll get to know each other better. R/S puts each other to the test, these test are vital before tying the knot -

if u dont want ur relationship to end early, u should avoid thinking of marriage unless u are old.
