why they put a muzzle over the mouth of this fish? It bites? I thought the fishermen only put muzzles on shark's mouths.

Parrot fishes are brightly coloured as they live in a coral reef
They have a beak-like mouth so that they can break off the hard coral since it is their staple diet
They are edible but there is a possibility of ciguatera poisoning. -
