Nice People I met - What's your encounter?

My car was broke down in the middle of some place where I was not familar and it happened on sunday. Our car end up tow to one mech shop and we are waiting for my colleague to pick us up. A mechanic happen to pass by near this mech shop to his office to pick up something, offer to help us check the car. He attempt to fix the car so we can go back home safely, but unfortuanely the spare part shop was closed and we have to leave car there. He spend 2 hours to take out the parts and he miss his 1st meeting with his girlfriend. I feel so bad about it but he keep on saying its ok, he likes to help ppl and he choose to miss the date telling he not v interested in the first place.
When we went to collect the car, the staff told me the mech ask to charge cheaper for the repair cos we r his friends...and one of my colleague who fetch me to the mech shop on that day saw the bill and he told me its cheap compare to his who has almost the same repair. I think he never consider the labour charge for the 2 hr that he fix for me....I was very touched by this gentleman from nepal but he was not there when we are there to collect the car.
I still cant believe there is such a helpful guy cos i seldom met anyone like that in my life. He help ppl and do not expect something to gain from it. I really hope I can do something to repay but I am too far from him right now.... Hope I can see u again, anyway thks ashwin!

Actually once I was in Sengkang shopping. My 1st time there. I was looking for the hair salon feeling tired and peeved from a busy day. Then one lay braved my "black" face and told me my fly was open...

Ah! So u r the damsel in despair when all your colour-colour marbles dropped onto the floor arh? I was one of the few good men who helped you to search and retrieve them for you at the kopi-tiam lah.
Becaoz I help u hor, I was late for work & kena scold by boss ok? So how u planning to compensate me?
