Nigera Scam

Recently, i just received a buyer that he is going to buy items from me but it has to be send to his country, Nigera. Newspaper have confirmed that it's true and here is what he replied when contacted him.
1st email.
Dear seller,
i want you to get back to me with the condition of the item and the shipping cost to Nigeria through DHL.
I also want you to know that i will be making my payment through western union money transfer,so i will be needing your full name and address so i can send you the money.
thanks.

2nd email
hello my name is Gary Evans,
i want you to know that i want the item posted to Nigeria through DHL,so i want you to get back to me with the ps2 cost and the shipping cost to Nigeria through DHL so i can go to the western union office to send you the money.
also get back to me with your full name and address so i can send the money immediately.

When seller received from them, just ignore them and be careful of this scam. -
Western Union does not need your full name or address.

they told me that too. Got 3 person. The first 2 i play a prank on them, send them tissue paper in a box. The 3rd one i was too busy to entertain. haha

As soon as I see anything involving Nigeria I delete or mark as spam. But also beware now they using same storyline for other countries like UK. -
ask them transfer money first... no money no talk...

I think this fraud/scam has been around for very long already.

If u see nigera... avoid.. 90% is a scam...
if u are ask to pay via Western Union..... alway avoid.... cos it 100% not safe since it is not secure payment...
these are very old scam, happen way back 6yrs ago in europe and the state....
s'pore less prone coz less exposure.....
