My my, drama serials on CH 8 are really "dramatic"

ok guys ..this is the moment of truth for those who love watching Mediacorp Channel 8 drama serials, please say yes and WHY .for those who dont, also please state why u hate it. Furthermore, please give mediacorp channel 8 a score rating for their drama serials
i want to gather some test statistics ( am bored , exams just finished )
for me, its a big NO .
This is because mostly the shows have
1. Dry humour by actors
2. Exaggeration of acting to the point that I wonder whether they sincerely mean it
3. Mediacorp TV have been adopting the same model for drama serials over the past 8 years. To the point that there's very little variety of new shows coming out .
10 bucks that Mediacorp would release another drama serial that wouldn't appeal to me.
SCORE : 4/10
P.S I would release test results in 2 days.( would release the mean score and the standard deviation) If the number of correspondents is less than 30 , i cant have a good gauge.

It seems like every single chinese drama series on channel 8 always involves a car accident at some point. Either that or someone is hospitalised for some other reason. Or someone is in a coma. ALWAYS!

I really seeing some scenes last night for the 9pm drama...
I was laughing when the actress is clearly holding onto a v3x(maybe dummy) and did not flip open while answering the call... maybe MC too poor to use real phone and flipping it open will only show that it is a dummy to the public watching it...
Damn funny... Dummy actress using dummy phone. I call the actress dummy cos she do not the common sense that the phone need to be flipped open to answer call... -
some shows like the 9pm army one quite ok.
but i think this recent pm show abit too action..where got 1 girl settle everyone, abit too ....off and fake this time round.. -

Korea drama serial always the guy is the girl's half-brother, always got someone kenna cancer/about to die etc. Or girl likes a guy, guy don't like her, she don't get it keep on come on to him.
In the end, drama serials are all the same. Its just whether the script is good or not. For one, i would think that HK drama serials are way better than Spore's, despite the fact that the things I mentioned above happens most of the time. Spore's drama serials are too obessed with promoting face-of-the-month or flavour-of-the-month(aka the Seven Princess). Established actresses like Aileen Tan, Huang Biren and Ivy Lee hardly appears on the TV screen anymore except for weekday reruns at 5.30pm, while all these young CMI things keep on appearing on my screen. -
and seriously the plot of their drama serial has been repeated like 100times
all the drama now are all only based on family disputes or LOVE.omfg.We r bored to death already.There's hardly isn't any drama based on a theme,occupation,industry.Even if it has like the recent honour and passion,u hardly see them showing how taypinghui overcome his army stuff right,all wayang...its very shallow.Eventually,we saw the show revolving its characters' love life,for gdness sake.How huangwenyong kenna con,how bryan wong jio dawn yeoh,how taypinghui overcome his shyness n jio felicia chin.They should juz change the name of the show.
Collarboration with malaysian TV's more horrible,the 7pm show now...its a copy of a series few yrs back with Hao yi.Can;t rmemeber the name though
N u compare it with TVB dramas like for eg forensic heros,very in depth analysis and plot into the life and occupation of a forensic scientist.
too much to say.
4/10 also -
Entertainment is merely a means to distract the general populace.
However, you can't blame them either. After a few years of writing dramas, you will get sian also. -
nowadays no more period drama n sword fighting shows from mediacorp liao. think they saving money that way.
