care to share any interesting, exciting or even amusing workplace cultures that you know of, esp on japanese stores like takashimaya?

last time when seiyu was sieyu, the SAs all line up near the door and bow and say goodnite, thank u, see u again when they closing.......

isetan is also like tt... morning during opening, they will line up and greet gd morning and welcome also...

yes taka also like that one... early morning 10 o clock everyone stand by... silly music plays... security guard rushes to open roller shutters... all promoters and taka staff stand with right hand clasped on left...
10.02am silly music ends... everybody bows... to the empty air!!!... no customers so early come wat...
then everybody shake backside and go back to mind their own business

yeah... every morning like dat... but also can reflect the culture there... pseudo japanese... but for show onli... even the floor managers there close one eye one...

some jipoonese companies the staff must assemble and do morning exercise then start work

Managers and above usually wear the company jacket to attend meetings, internal or external. Japanese companies, tsk tsk tsk. But I notice the hr manager ever wearing hers, must be excuse jacket or something.
