I have applied to MOE and will start contract teaching jan next year
You just need to apply through MOE, then they will call u for an interview. After that interview, you will either go straight to NIE or go for contract teaching 1 year then go to NIE, depending on your performance. If you go NIE straight u need to sign a bond with them though, and it will bind you to them for the next 3 years after u finished the course. But contract teachers are not bonded so if you find it is not suitable u can leave anytime you want.
To be well-liked by students ah...you need to find a way to get along with them, and know that different students have different ways to teach them. You need to be stern with them as well, otherwise if you are too friendly they will take advantage of you. It comes with experience
