How cum 4 durians =S$100 ???

Bought them at Paya lebar while I was in Singapore last week.I thought It was 3 for S$10.I was told it is called 'butter durian' got such thing ar not??

There is a durian called "Kan Yao" here in Thailand going for 2000baht each. While it might taste heavenly (I've absolutely no idea lol) but the price sure is nuts.

Depends on the amount of harvest for that particular type of durian.
And the durian type. I dunnoe about this butter durian though. -

As to what I know of, currently the best durian in the market is the "Mao Shan Wang"..which toughly translates to english as Cat Mountain King..if you say 4 durians costs $100, means one durian is $25..which is possible if it's really very good quality of durian, especially Mao Shan Wang..
Added: And Mao Shan Wang durians are also known as Butter Durians because it's texture is very buttery.. -
