How true is this with respect to Singapore?
I tink it's quite applicaible. In pri sch if u go EM3 den tio condemn liao. den ppl will not gif u/ gif u lesser chance in life.

for me if i fail i will look at where i went wrong
and i will make sure i will do better

Winners also stumble and fall, just that each time, they fall, they pick themselves right up and keep going whereas when losers fall, they just throw their arms up, whine and give up......

The educational system in s'pore kinda sux... don't they realise that kid that dun do well in their primary or secondary dun necessary mean that they wont do well in poly or uni? Some kid develop their studies ability late, others early. But to place a system that penalise them for developing late really show how narrow, rigid and unforgiving our current society is.
Lucky in the open world, failure are more forgiveable. After all, there is a lot of the rich and successful person out there with bare or minimum education. Just dun give up. If u do, that really is the end of u. -
hmm in a way i think its true.
i know one guy who dropped out of sec school, then later studied while serving NS, and now top the class.
but now he don't have money to study, so forced to stop studying again, work as car salesman.

Not true.
Using EM3 as an example, IMO I think it's not really suitable.
Let use ITE as an example. I see people working there working doubly harder than poly students and they are offered a place in poly after their education in ITE.
Failing doesn't mean you fail forever. You yourself have to work even harder to prove that you're no lesser than your counterparts, then you'll be offered a chance. -
