he say that it hurts whenever he walks and he's walking with crutches now.Originally posted by ndmmxiaomayi:How did he injure it? If it's not serious, the best he can do is to stay at home and rest. Once he recovers, he can do some simple exercises to slowly regain back his fitness.
If it's too serious... then no. He has to see a sports doctor.
I think it will be best to see a sports doctor for it. Martial arts injuries are not minor.Originally posted by dahliamorie:he say that it hurts whenever he walks and he's walking with crutches now.

he got injured only recently, and he said that it hurts when he walks. he's training for a competition and he still cant take his mind off the competitionOriginally posted by lwflee:The question to ask is whether or not the injury is getting better? If it is then there should be nothing to worry about.
thanks for your reply, i'll pass the message to him.Originally posted by jessepoh:Dear concerned friend,
from what i seen from your question, i think it would be better for your friend to rest the leg and wait for a couple of month of recuperation.(i think the injury is muscular not the bones ) because the doctor gave him some cream to apply.
If this injury cannot heal or your friend have money to spend seek another doctor opinion. Since the polyclinic think this injury is minor, (some polyclinic doctors are hopeless cases of incompetent fools that mistaken my previous medical condition with my leg as malingering until i show him the scar of my operation one year later), they may be wrong and mis-diagnosised his condition.
If your friend wanna save some money, get a polyclinic doctor to refer him to specialist clinic in SGH see the consultant over there to get second opinion. Get a CAT scan or MRI scan to confirm the consultant's diagnosis. Pay more on tests rather to spend it on expensive surgery later.
I hope this helps. pray hard that the injury heals completely.
Skip one competition and he still can go for the rest in future. If he's going to continue, he might injure it further and can no longer take part in competitions in future. Ask him to choose. As I've said, martial arts aren't minor.Originally posted by dahliamorie:he got injured only recently, and he said that it hurts when he walks. he's training for a competition and he still cant take his mind off the competition
