I dont like to say but the facts are that people sleep with their mouths open in the mrt train (my gosh!), beautiful hands swing too wide when they walk and so make them look like ducklings and marching soldiers despite their nice makeup and beautiful dresses (what a pity) and ahhh...open their mouths very big when they are eating and so eveyone got to see their food inside the mouth.

1. passengers not standing behind the yellow line to wait for passengers to get out of the train. Basic manners, please.
2. Singaporean cough and sneeze without first using their hands to cover the mouth. For the benefits of those who do not know why they have to cover the mouth, it is to prevent the virus with fluids that cough out of one's body from spreading to the surrounding air and infect others. Be considerate, please.
While Singapore's infrastructure (hardware) is first class, I hope that Singaporeans (software) strive to be more sensitive to social etiquette so that the nation deserves to proclaim itself as 1st Class. -

worse, there are those wearing short sleeve shirt and use their hand to hold on to the MRT handle. gosh, showing all their armpit hair. not so smart move. must be conscious mah...either shave them if you want to hold on to those hanging handle or move to the vertical bar and hold on to them so that no one sees your armpit hair. to me, this is basic social ettiquette. -
Horrible grammar - words like 'advices', 'sheeps', 'fruits', 'fishes', etc.
I've heard people speak beautiful english with extensive use of vocabulary but totally kill the language with those sorta words.
Even the 'Speak Good English' campaign is grammatically incorrect. It should be 'Speak English Well'. I find this extremely ironic it's hilarious. -

Quirk mean unique behaviour.
Sure we must have noticed these behaviours among Singaporeans and so why not say them out so that we realised how odd we behave which we did not realise anything wrong unless others say them out. -

Being confused as to which accent we should adopt, British or American.. so we adopt a rojak mixture of both Just tune in to any radio station and you'll see (or rather hear) what I mean.

sleeping with the mouth open is a reflex isnt it. since the jaw is heavy it slacks down to allow air to enter. of course if you are more image conscious then you would close it.
girls who put on makeup not bothering to close their mouths when they yawn. cmon so unglamorous man. -

small things like that just let it be. otherwise some one could come along and say its discorteous not to shave your legs or your hair and such also.
