The only risk worth mentioning is puncturing your lungs accidentally during the op. But even that is not very serious or life threatening as it is very minimal chances. Another thing is compensatory sweating might occur. As in, the sweat intended for your palms will be directed to other parts of your body that will sweat more. Which parts you ask me? It varies from patient to patient. For me, my chest sweats more but i'm okay with it. Some patients are lucky and do not get compensatory sweating at all.
Post op recovery was very painful as they collapsed my lung during surgery and it was hell just to breath for the first few days. Really hurt like siao everytime i took in a breath.
Was it worth it? If i had go and do it again, I would. I am very satisfied with the results and frankly speaking, I don't think those temporary options can come close. This is guaranteed and permanently effective. After suffering from uncontrollable wet hands since young, my hands are dry all day round. At the most will only be a little moist, but nothing more than that even if you force it.
To those who never suffer from excessive sweaty palms, you don't know how good it feels for once to have dry hands while writing, shaking hands and doing daily activities.
Anyone who had this operation b4 also?
which hosiptial did u do your operation? and how much it cost? Pls advice me..
If this is the case with high internal body temperature, you could get some chinese medicine to help it off.
My sister had some roots which was to be boiled in water every day.And I dnt see her complaining now.
