How to deal with prank calls?

there was once this girl prank my mum...
girl: hello (crying), come and save me!
my mum: who are u?
girl: u don't know me? i'm being kidnap!
my mum: ya who are u!?!?!
girl: i am who u also don't know!?
girl: come and save me!
my mum: how the hell would i know if u never tell me ur name. ok give me ur home address i ask the police go and save u...
*that girl hang up the phone*
Nowdays alot prank calls calling my house. How to track them? and most are private numbers, if i know the numbers i surely call and back. -
Just hang up.
The whole idea of prank calls is to piss the shit outta the other fellow. -

maybe the girl really tio kidnapped and her kidnapper made her hung up the phone.
anyway, we can bo chap abt this matter since we r not involved.

Or u meant the girl managed to get hold of a phone and anyhow randomly pressed a number to call for help?
WOuldnt it be wiser to call her fmaily or the police?

maybe she dialled her family but no one picked up the phone or line was busy at that point of time. Knowing she had little time to make a call, she randomly pressed no. to ask for help (even though it would sound too unbelievable to the receiver of the call). Second thing, she doesn't rmb what our police hotline is. Or if she knows, the kidnapper may warn her that if she called the police, her life might be in grave danger. The way deal with prank calls is to hang up immediately. It takes the fun out of it.
How do i know? I make prank calls occasionally. -
i rememebered someone prank call me oso..-.-' keep asking me to have sex w him. kaoz. =\ hung up on him..den he keep calling..den i switch off my hp for a few hours and he never called again.

I think its possible...to immediately call singtel and ask for the number last called...
