Is SG becoming more dangerous?

  I always have this fear whenever i walk past a large group of bengs or mats in fear of getting whacked by them or something even though you did nothing wrong, like this fear that they don't like the way you dress/walk.
  
  My friend just told me near his house there (tamp st 71) some guy just got hacked by a bunch of hooligans and recently, a fight almost broke out at the tamp inter area.
  
  Is it really getting so unsafe?

  I've walked past them countless times ... And dun look at them if you dun want trouble ... esp. when you are outnumbered

  our police officers r send to protect those rich angmoh.. STAR unit will reach within 5min when those FT dial 999 to complain abt c0ckroach in their house..
  while a normal singaporean r require to wait 5 hours for a nsf policeman to attend to a murder scene..
