"nice guy" huh.. the actual usage/interpretation is somewhat subjective, but in general I think it's safe to assume that when a girl says "well......he's a nice guy, BUT..." she's just saying he hasn't got the qualities that would make him attractive in her eyes.. not that he's actually all that 'nice'.
To many modern women, the most attractive male organ is the mind. Gorgeous women go for smart men with good social skills, and a guy's actual looks are seldom important - but of course his self-image and grooming are.
True, "nerd" is "in" now, but sometimes men have to tease a woman's mind, play a little hard to get, in order to get her interest in -that- way. It's basic psychology, if you have to work a little harder for something, you'll automatically feel it must be worth more than you thought and will want to investigate... so "nice guys", now you know how to escape your fate

there are really some nice guys around which are well-manner and their attitude are great, so are the looks..
my nice guys defination is that the guys must be really good lor...
what u mean that ugly-looking guys are nice guys.. that is totally bullshit and crap.
if ugly-looking guys are not well-manner, and have the good qualities... then I think that they can just disappear from the world... No manners , no good qualities!!! waste the world resources...
But I think that there are some good qualities in everone...
so why question so much of who is nice guy and who is bad guys! After a while, pple will know! believe me!
These people just dun wish to say that that guy is really a bad guys that waste the world resources....
Hopeful hope that the bad guys will change... if not , I think someone will get them a lesson... and have bad karma for the rest of their life!!!

Ok, there are indeed ugly guys getting dates & being well-liked, but most ppl just brush them off as 'bad guys'..huh? Don't you think they are the real ppl pleaser?? (a.k.a nice) If not why would ppl be flocking to them?
Another point is because we emphasize too much on looks that's why we always get disappointed. We always delude ourselves that those good-looking ppl are always up to no good, yes, there are, but not all, if not those 'nice guys' (see the first sentence for reference) will have tons of chances already.
Sorry but...a whiny, ugly, poor or having a poor attitude is not a 'nice guy'. They are only using that term to feel better for themselves, but in reality, they are just plain deluding themselves & should get down to improve their situation instead of having a pity party. There should be a new term for those ppl...

Aiyah, itz the same for galz... those pui-pui and ugly ones always known as the 'nice ones' oso, then those chio ones always seen to be dao or flirty...
Then usually guys will get to know the pui one first and mix in the group, or try to get info from the pui one etc.. end up the pui one like the guy, but the guy actually only using her... this kind of thing, so common...
Anyway, onez lookz dun define their character... BUT, having good looks also bring attention and that newfound attention can change one's character to act a certain way....
So the below average tend to be nicer cuz they just don't have that much attention whilst those hamsum n chio pplz get a bit big-headed and sometimes get selective of their company.
Imagine u see a pui n ugly guy or gal who oso act dao and bitchy... wah lan, no more hope... bottomline, looks matter...
And guys are by nature sexual beasts... if u hamsum, many gals like u... u may be nice, may be helpful, may be thoughtful, doesn't mean ur kok dun itch
