it's universal. if not u can always check again. it shld say 110V~240V, 50~60Hz.Originally posted by Chin Eng:have you considered the voltage of the charger????
may not be.... typically if the product is for the domestic market, the charger only goes up to 110 v..... plus.... the head is also different. then got to spring more money to buy the local version, can amount to almost the same minus local warranty.Originally posted by ^tamago^:it's universal. if not u can always check again. it shld say 110V~240V, 50~60Hz.

well at least for japan it's pretty safe. i could bring any charger here and use it there, just need a universal plug adaptor. all our common chargers support 110V thru to 240V.Originally posted by Chin Eng:may not be.... typically if the product is for the domestic market, the charger only goes up to 110 v..... plus.... the head is also different. then got to spring more money to buy the local version, can amount to almost the same minus local warranty.
really? how about if the ipod i buy from japan spoils, can i swap it here? that's what i'm concerned about, my 5.0G ipod video which i had for 6 mths before it got stolen had to be replaced three times, due to hdd failure and the likesOriginally posted by chenc:iPod is UNIVERSAL
Warranty: Online. Login with serial to check anywhere, anytime.
Charger: Does not come with charger. It charges with USB. Those lucky dude who got 1 is because of promotions.
Voltage: Chargers are universal too. Works in any country safely. (Exception: some 3rd world countries) All that matters is a travel kit adaptor (switch plugs of different kinds).
