ever since we decide to be world lumber one port,the beaches' fate is sealed.
there is no way in the universe you can have tankers and containers drifting around round the clock and have a clean beach.
plus sinkaporeans can't be counted on to keep their own arses clean, let alone public places. -
Any Singaporean who would bring a mattress all the way to the beaches to dump it , i would say he's a complete retard . A town council can already help you dispose of it for FREE, yet he bring it to the beach. Dumb isn't it?
The tyres i believe are from barges. They are tied to the side of the barges or bumboats ( Pulau Ubin area) to cushion side collisions . However , sometimes they do fall off into the sea. -
You're meaning to tell us that some sailors onboard an indonesian or a malaysian vessel got tired of their old toilet bowl and threw it OB. I am not good at writing.. but I will try ... I worked in PSA's area. Once there was a contianer ship ( not boat ) was moving towards a particular berth. We had heard of seaman falling off at Clifford pier and hours later the body was found at Sentosa. If it is not the strong underwater current, then what can it be? Don't forget during that time the body moved towards Sentosa, the Marine police were looking for him ...
