Phonecall from "Unknown"

  Got a phonecall from a lady number "Unknown". I've seen Private and Withheld but never "Unknown".
  
  I answered in English, "Hello."
  Asking me in Mandarin to do dunno what survey for a Zhonghua Telecom or something.
  I said in English,"Sorry, I don't understand Mandarin."
  She just hung up.
  
  What the hell.
  
  Is this one of those stupid scams again?

  ya... they will call u and tell u they are doing some survey..
  and said few days later.
  they will have a grand opening or something at JB..
  and ask u to remember ur so call special number...
  and hung up
  
  then few days later .
  they call u at round 5 pm ++ and said u won first prize during the grand opening lucky draw
  and ask u to go JB before 7 pm.
  and ask if u can make it there..
  which normally ppl will said cannot..
  then they will tell u they call u the next day for more detail..
  
  then the next day.
  they call..
  ask if u are member..
  if not u cannot get the first prize money..
  u need to transfer $2k to $5k to them to be member...
  
  and if u did..
  u are screwed

  I've received 2 calls from china lady recently as well. I'm suspecting the same person.
  
  The first call (overseas call) was an invitation to Macau's newly opened hotel. She said only 100 singaporeans were invited. I said i'm not interested and hung up.
  
  The 2nd call (sounds like the same lady), said she's doing some market survey.
  I immediately said "not interested" and hung up.
  
  Their cheena a bit deep for me to understand too. Wondering where they got all the numbers from.
