Ya both Yamaha and Ludwig comes with Zildjian for cymbals (if i'm not wrong)Originally posted by TrixCereals:I think Pearl is also well-known for its quality but can be slightly expensive.
For cymbals it would have to be Zildjian.
The drummer in my first band got a set for SGD$550. But it was quite rubbish.![]()

I'm a drummer like u..been one since 15...almost 10 years now...the most important thing of buying a drumset is the seat...are u comfortable? Does it give u a nice height and does your ankle sprain when pedalling? Once your seat is confirmed, test the snare first...cymbals..insist of Zildjian la![]()
My teacher who is from the band, Aphelion tells me that the best drums are in this order
1) DW
2) Tama
3) Pearl
4) Yamaha
5) Ludwig
I believe Ludwig drumsets are assembled with Sabian cymbals or brackets for Sabian cymbals..
i think the best brand for u is DDRUM..but i dunno whether SL stocks DDRUM![]()
