I think maybe we should try to understand why the woman reacted like this, since there must be a reason. Don't you think we should contemplate about what she said? Maybe we should look at ourselves in the mirror first and calm down, instead of lashing out at her, and continuing the cycle of hatred and misunderstanding. It is unfortunate to meet one such anti-social here. And of course, coming from China give SGreans one more reason to stereo-type Chinese social misbehaviours. If you have been to China, you see even more of such bad behaviours. But compared to the entire population, they are in the minority - though the minority can run into millions!
My guess is this: China under Communist rule has forsaken many social values and religious morals. Also, many Chinese have this inferiority complex and they need to assert themselves in public. So, in China, you hear the Chinese speak very loudly, they jump queue, they spit everywhere and they chiong for anything and everything!
Having said that, they are exemplary Chinese too. Let's just say that it is the same for SGrean. They are many who still have anti-social habits here - littering, chiong here and there, free-I-want-too. Just look at the free Today newspapers - some people take multiple copies - for what? -
