How long to wait for ur credit/debit card?

  Hi all
  
  I just applied for credit/debit card thru POSB n was wondering how long it would take for u to receive ur card...or at least, the time taken for ur card status to get updated to "received"..I send in my application last wk n till now whenever I called the DBS hotline, I still get news tat its not yet received..strange...
  
  Can anyone clarify on this?

  My last time that Citi Clear Credit Card for student took 1month!

  Debit cards are the least priority these days, hence don't be surprised if they make you wait, wait, wait, wait, till you forgot, and then send in another application, and wait, wait, wait.

  UOB debit took about 2 weeks heh.
  
  BTW Uob bankers need to learn more about their own services. That time i read on their website the teenager account goes along with a visa debit card.
  
  The next day i opened the account and clarified with the banker who looked like a senior whether i will be getting the visa card, she said it's only when i've reached 18 yr old.
  
  2 weeks later i received the visa card

  Depending on your credit status, processing usually takes about 2-3 weeks!
  
  If u have good credit standing, the bank won't want u to wait too long before using your card too!

  anyway wads the diff between a debit and credit card?

  It takes two weeks.
  
  But when I lost my card, the banks take only around 3-4 days to replace them
  
  I lost my card 3 times btw.

  When i tried to apply for POSB Debit card, i total got rejected thrice. No reason given.
  
  Then i got fed up, i applied for POSB Everyday Credit card, i got the card roughly about 10 Days later.
  
  So i think you can forget about getting your debit card....
