HAHAHA OMFG.. farkin brilliant.. guys its not that she changes direction... the graphical image and motion is always there but what determines whether each of us say whether she is clockwise or anti-clockwise is our own mind..
I had just managed to "will" it to turn clockwise and anti-clockwise anytime I want.. You make your mind think which direction she is turning and you will see that she is turning that way... bloody brilliant hahaha.. -

if u look at the legs and hands, its even more obvious that it is clockwise.
to be more precise, she is turning clockwise with her body orientated backwards. -

I found out that even if you look at it through a mirror, she still turns at the same direction.

Ok I opened up the image in Adobe ImageReady and confirmed that the image is not a trick. The entire loop of the image shows it in default CLOCKWISE, nothing else.
But you will be able to see ANTI CLOCKWISE somehow, and i swear for a long while just now I saw the thing anti clockwise. -

you need to look at the floor's on the shadow then slowly focus on the women again

Here are some hints from the test group.
You have to look down at the shadow, keep your eyes there for some seconds and then slowly move your eyes upward.
Sometimes my brain even changes the direction when I look at different parts of the figure. Dont stare at her, keep your eyes moving up and down.
when she turns clockwise she has the right foot up.. when counter-clockwise its the left foot.. just tell yourself which foot is up and she will turn in that direction..
