trembling problem....

  lol.
  
  as above.
  
  i own a 7.1 speaker set.
  
  sound is good.
  
  but the problemis, my window and cupboard tend to tremble and making a irritating "sizzling" sound whenever i try to turn up the volume...
  
  anybody got any suggestion to curb this problem?

  mine oso the same... me is not cause by the speaker, but the subwoofer(cos i on two 12 inch at the same time)
  
  my way is to oepn the windows, and the door, cos door will have the vibration, subwoofer must be placed in the corner for better sound, but if u do so, things vibrate more
  
  so till now i oso no solution

  Mount your speakers on cones/spikes. They reduce vibration!
  Go Adelphi to check out the accessories......

  mine is in the corner also leh....i only got one 6.5 inch de subwoofer....but my windows railing ar......szzzzzzz......
  
  my living room's 5.1 speakers also like dat, dat one lagi worse. the tv cupboard will just vibrate. den my mum think the subwoofer lousy

  What is cones/spikes? What object you referring to? Got pics to show?

  Easy, remove your windows and cupboards, make your room empty with rubber sound proof, and hip hop all the way.

  Place a thick rubber mat under it and see....

  one way is to stuff news paper between the railing and the support so it wont vibrate so much.....and maybe not to on it too loud lor, i on my at half the volume, but the frequency crossover i turn it to produce low frequency, so it actually vibrates more, u can maybe turn the frequency cross over to a bit near middle, but the bass might nt be that good.
  
  btw, is ur subwoofer active or passive one?
  wad brand oso? cos if the quality not a veri good one, if u turn up the volume, and at low frequency, it takes the amp to push alot to produce the sound which heats up the wire, if the amp not strong enough will get too hot
