Sport psychologist..

I need career advice on this.

I know SSC has offered this course but I heard it is not there good.
Australia also offers a degree and diploma on this too but i have no money.

I'm not sure what is the career prospect for this in Singapore?
I don't really have a track of sport achievement but i am very interested it after i take up a GE on it.

So i ponder should i tried to be a PE teacher first and then diversified into sport science and into Sport Psychologist.

Attach to National Teams.

But you ought to be experienced to be offered this job. Otherwise, starting off is usually very rocky. Not a very secure job, i must say. Singapore is also no very much focus into sports.

Yea. I personally know of someone who is a sport psychologist. He's with one of the psychologist for one of our national player.

I can't tell you who is he, but sport psychologist is really in demand now.. Very Happy

how and where did he do his degree?
Locally or oversea in us or Australia or taiwan?
He had a PHD or a master....

Any criteria in entering the courses?

Most, if I'm not wrong, doesn't do a degree here locally. Some may have a sports related diploma though. Like the earlier batch of NYP students from Sports Studies.

There's also a specialized school of sports from RP, but our unique learning approach will probably make you quit faster...
