Lydia Sum seriously ill

Renowned actress and comedian Lydia Sum Tin-ha is reported to be in serious condition in a Hong Kong hospital's intensive care unit after collapsing in her home on Thursday.
South China Morning Post reported that the semi-conscious Hong Kong actress was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
The 60-year-old actress, fondly known as Fei Fei, was later transferred to the Queen Mary Hospital.
The Standard reported that Sum suffered from pleural effusion, which is a complication of liver cancer.
Police officers have been assigned to patrol the intensive care unit at the hospital to keep the media at bay.

Sum's daughter Joyce Cheng Yan-yee, 20, declined to comment on her motherÂ’s condition.
SumÂ’s former husband Adam Cheng Siu-chow, who visited her at 5.30pm, said her condition had stabilised.
In September last year, Sum was admitted to hospital for a cholelithotomy to have 32 gallstones extracted. Then, she was diagnosed with cancer of the liver and gallbladder.
Doctors at Queen Mary Hospital removed a 2.7kg tumour after an eight-hour long operation and, since then, she has been in and out of hospital many times. -
