holiday ideas?

  hi all,
  
  end of this november or early dec, i think i'll be taking 1-week leave from work.
  anyone got any good suggestions?
  
  i'm looking for somewhere close to the malaysia and upper-indonesian area (pulau tioman, bintan etc.), and yes, i'm on a budget.
  
  serious one hor, don't tell me ubin, tekong, saint john island or sentosa.

  langkawi or redang. remb to try out horse riding on the beaches, an experience not to be missed

  but if go to places like langkawi, tioman or rendang, usually where people like us stay? in those kampung-style resorts? high-class hotels?
  
  also, indonesia / batam and malaysian areas safe anot?
  i see on the news everyday got crimes blah blah blah....

  i personally prefer to stay cheap accom. but if u go with big group can share share, then go for deluxe lah!

  my budget is around S$100 - S$150++ lah (per person).....i'm going with my family (total 5 members, including me).
  
  actually i'm thinking of signing up for superstar virgo, but it's like S$199 - S$288++ for just 2 - 3 nights.....the money gone liao....
  
  i'm looking for some kind of place whereby there's the beach, greenery and all that. i don't really want those city kind of place.

  Redang is perfect for it's greenery and beautiful sea.
  Why not live in a resort facing the sea?
  And do not forget to go snorkelling in the clear coral waters.
