which is more tame?

  i need some comments from all of you, especially those who kept these animals before
  
  i'm thinking of getting a pet soon but couldn't decide on getting whether a guinea pig or chinchilla.
  i used to keep a rabbit then a guinea pig. i will say that guinea pigs are generally more tame and responsive.
  
  i've seen a chinchilla and it's kind of clever.
  are chinchillas as tame as guinea pigs?
  will it bite?
  
  or rabbit?
  
  i want a pet which is not aggresive by nature, will respond to its owner and not too timid.

  i've thought of keeping a dog or cat but my family don't really like them so i guess a rodent would be better since it has a cage.
  not really interested in keeping birds.

  and by the way, anyone has any pet shop to recommend which sell peruvian guinea pig?
  i know one Sam Yick at marine parade is very good, but not sure if there sells any peruvian breed.
  
  or animal shelter also can but i prefer a not so big one.
  
  does anyone know what is the price for a peruvian breed? my previous American Crested bought from Sam Yick was around $80.

  in my opinion non of the animals are responsive except larger animals like dogs or perhaps horses(dunno much cos never had it before)
  
  Naive people often get deluded that his/her hamster likes or knows him/her when it is not true at all.
