funny smell in the air today

  did anyone smell a strong scent of like people baking a huge over stuffed vanilla cookies or maybe the smell of coffee
  
  this morning at thomson..can smell..then clement at 2 can smell also

  i smelled it around bishan area (the semi-detach housing area). my friend say dunno what insecticides. but dont think so. it smells more like ice-cream actually.
