I am 19 yrs old. In NS now. Will be going NUS in 2009. But im thinking of getting tattoo only when im 21. I read up on temporary tattoos and i realised they only last a few days. That wont have much impact on one's life at all. Anyone else got anything to share? Any personal experience?

genuine people who tattoo do it as an expression of art or to express themselves.... if you're doing it just for the sake of showing off.. i suggest you stick with the 'stickies'...

I have tried only 3 shops. One at the heeren, the other one at bugis street second level, the other one at AMK.
Comparing all 3, all 3 are pretty professional and hace good hands, but bugis one superior...
Price, bugis one is like nto so ex also
then followed by AMK one, then orchard heeren one -

the last thing you want is to be facing off with another person spotting a similar design of your tattoo..
if u can;t find any, i'll send you a hundred tattoo designs in zip format and u can pick out which one suits your taste -
BY impact, i mean NEGATIVE impact. Learn to read the tone, cant you figure it out? Tattoing a latin word that means truthfulness - how will that make you a showoff. Had my tattoos done by the late Johny 2 thumb at bras basah just before enlistment and the colors have faded since then.Tattoos are expensive and its going to be with you for the rest of your life>So if you have to have one make sure it is a meaningful one.
