i have some mixed feeling now...
should i or shouldn't i donate???
i think the government and ministars should be the one donating tonnes of $$$ since they pledge to help the poor when they increase the GST... not i say one, they say one...
but but but... why still got so many people suffering... i tot they said increase GST is to help these poor people... but they are indeed helping the POOR people by increaseing the ministars and tonnes of civil servants' salary...
so what the hell... i made the decision, i will not donate unless these government and ministars and civil servants donate...
so boys and girls, men and women, uncles and aunties, gays and lebs, husbands and wifes, cutes and uglys, PLEASE DO NOT DONATE!!! -
Pls don't say it in this way. I do not know how the gov operates, but I do know that if this good society ceases or closed operation due to insufficient fund, those cancer patients or immediately family and friends of the patients will be in the lost and have 1 less society to help. Everybody should do our part for it if we can afford for charity. But why should we have 2 extra PM (SM & MM), imagine the million dollar salary can be donated to these poor people who reali need it more than anyone else. No wonder, I can see the phone call r getting lesser bcos everyone r having a hard time paying for their own living plus medical cost r reali xpensive in Singapore.

you are nice guy, i do not wish to say anything against you...
i am against the way the gahmen deceive us and make us pay higher costs...
i am not against the patients, as the patients, like us, are going through hell now...
i heard one old man, saying that he only survived with $159 per month... if we can do without MM or SM, the $$$ we save, can channel to help these poor and helpless people... i do not think PM need MM to mentor or SM to act as a senior... their role are reduntant (or they can work for free or at a lower cost)... these poor and helpless people are the one whom need the $$$
and singtel also "chen huo da jie" = "rob the people when there's a fire"

the only way we can deter them from robbing us is to stop donating $$$ to these kind of show...
u want to donate... please donate directly to their orgainization...
let them know $$$ cannot be raised this way, these kind of shows will die down...
waste $$$, waste resources, waste taxpayers' $$$, singtel robs the donor $$$, TCS don't know rob how much commission, gahmen don't know take how much GST...

Should be ministers and top civil servants donate lah. Ordinary civil servants like Diploma, O and A levels holders dont earn a lot you know. Now worst still, must be good performers, then can get pay increment. -

It's ironic that some money from the donation calls is actually going to the local telcos and GST is charged some more!
The telcos and the government should stay out of this.
Has the CEO of Singtel, one of their operators or the President got cancer or some minister or his/her family has gone down with cancer?
I can't see why they are making use of every opportunity to suck some money from the people's pockets. Even charity shows on national television are not spared.
I think those cancer patients, if they know this is how the donation money is being handled, they would be feeling real sad.
God touch their conscience.
