How high are the chances of a foreigner getting a PR if she marries a local guy?
What are the chances of a girl marrying for love rather than for PR if she is willing to marry him after meeting for around 3 weeks?

but I'll say this ..... love is a luxury not everyone has .....
if a girl from some third world s.hit hole has the choice between the bright lights of singapore and a life time of mucking around in the rice fields, there's no contest really ....
she may be faithful to you ... she may be kind and considerate to you ... she may be a good wife and mother .... but don't mistake that for love ... it's a luxury not everyone has ... -

Yes u get PR instantly if the FT married into is a female. If it is the way round, it is going to take a while. Coz my fren marrying a FT wife (from UK) and it took her like 1/2 ~ 1yr to get PR.
But the like an old man marrying the young or the rich marrying the poor, they always have the risk of having their partner marrying for motive other then love. FT is just another risk factor, nothing new. We human alway do thing for a reason and motive. Just know the risk when u play the game and blame no one when the table turn on u. Cest La Vie. -

Not really true, if u are marrying someone base just on guessing.... then if it fail, you have no one to blame but yourself. I know you cant really true know what the other party is thinking, but consider these situation; a super ugly, poor old man marrying a young pretty PRC FT gal after knowing her for 3 week. there isn't much to guess is there?
Like all thing, if the married is committed in near equal term, the lower the risk factor that love wasnt involve. Other wise treat it like all business. The higher the return the higher the risk factor. -

just note that theres something called divorce and as the stupid laws are now in sg, its a big discrimination against males.
she might marry, get pr/citizen then file divorce. She gets the passport and at the same time fleeces you of the alimony and whatever. sounds like a good deal?
