  Ministers are different. They make day to day decisions that will affect thousands.. millions. Lives and for the greater good. Well.. o.k.. maybe not for the greater good.

  i disagree..hmm..in my opinion,soccer players are kinda more than entertainment than sports..doctors and nurses are busy contributing to this society everyday..so.....i wld disagree that soccer players should be earning more than doctors and nurses

  in european countries they value sports as they might be excelling and it is a good form of business. in such a small country like singapore, how many are great fans of singapore soccer(matching their standards with their european counterpart)?
  
  its the demand theory. due to poor support from singapore, why should we pay someone who does not appeal to the masses when we can invest our money in somewhere more worth it?
