My Mum, the Family Chef

mummy is a simple lady.
she cooks chicken kantang eberi other day.
occasionally, sum of her dishes, me see/eat liao duno wan to cry or luff.
one story me live to tell is dat of the peking duck.
got once, a person bought me a peking duck, in whole, from beijing.
cold, but cooked de. u juz have to roast it to warm it up.
ok, so me brought it home.
a few days later, mummy cooked it for dinner.
she roasted it. n dok-ed the peking duck like hw she wud to a sio arh.
not long after, me brought her to eat peking duck. -

she cooked spaghetti wif, of coz, pasta sauce & shredded/sliced cabbage, egg and german sausage.
all stir-fried.
me is so tempted to ask her wat is she tryin to cook.
but am givin it a pass.
coz me lealli dun tink she knws.
n me tink me nit to bring her go eat spaghetti one day. -
so, buy her a cook book. her ingredients are right, just the method of cooking

got once, she cooked 2 tings in a sauce.
me totally 4got wat liao.
bt such a trauma, 4get oso gd lah.
u cook the 2 tings by iteself wif the sauce, it's ok one.
bt she mixed together, the taste lealli like weird weird de. -

When i was a child, i remembered that i used to complain about my mom cooking and refused to eat unless the food were brought from outside. But since my mom passed away, Oh God, whether is is peking or beijing or washington duck or other crazy dishes, i so so missed her food and her cooking.
