  I dont think transitions lens are very good.
  
  Think about it, Your pupils dont need to work at all. when you enter a dark place, the lens change to to suit it, same goes when you enter a bright place.
  
  In the end gradually your pupil muscles can get paralysed as it doesnt need to adjust to any difference in light intensity.
