Around 30K should be the rough estimate.
Cut corners lor. Like dun bother about real wedding cake. Invitation cards and wedding favours ask from hotel. Get weekday banquet, not only cheaper, u get more frills from the hotel and the guests are more likely to consume less alcohol.
Don't buy wat angpow box la, ring pillow la, dunno all wat stupid thing. Either DIY if not beg borrow steal.
But hor, banquet money got angpow to cover back later. If lucky still can earn. Headache is house and reno. -
I attended a wedding last weekend, about 100 people.
All up around 6k.
Yesterday attended another wedding. Only around 19-22 people and costs 15k inc dinner

No offense to anyone but I FEEL the SG girls just dont know how tough life in singapore can gets.They just think of having this and that and yet are not as qualified to be wife as compared to other developing countries, hence explaining more and more sg men seeking wives overseas.And dont make it sounds like once the daughter gets married into the family, shes sold to the family forever, she can choose to divorce anytime she wants .And lastly, wives who think for thier marriage future would be wiser and not just indulge in thier childhood fantasies and they have only themselves to blame if they remain on the shelf.
