jc, poly or...ite? lol.
dam big headache.

i heard ppl say poly is nt very slack...true or nt?
personally if i score either 7-10 pts i may wanna try out poly...but either ways i still wanna/have to go uni in the end Laughing

if i go poly..im gonna study engineering..if i go jc..think i'll take physics chem econs and maths...but i personally feel if go jc and mug whole day like wasting my life away eh...

any1 got some views/facts and other stuffs to help me make informed choice/convince me where i can go?

If you got 7~10 points for ELR2B2*, it's almost guarantee you a place in Polytechnic of any course which you like.

*ELR2B2 denotes English Language, 2 relevant subjects(Maths & Sci), and 2 best subjects(any).

That means, the decision lies in you to chose a course which you are interested in. Myths says that polytechnics is a slacking heaven, but the actual fact is that if you want to do well, you must put in a lot of effort.

If you got 7~10 points for L1B5, then you can get into to most JC. The stellar results will enable you to have a more flexible subject combination of your choice.

My opinion if I score 7~10 points, I will go chose to go Polytechnic and chose the course which I like.

u got any goal in mind a not?

If got: Go poly and specialise

If not: Go JC, so that u have 2 more years to think about ur future job.

7-10 in O level is really NOTHING! As thing proceeds u never know where u will end up in.

I scored 13 in my O but scored 4As in my A. Therefore, don't be complacent. i saw many 10 pointers in my JC kena owned by A level.

I took double math and double science in JC (usually go engineering) but now i am taking Accountancy in Uni. So my advice is think about ur future career now before making any decision.

since u said u are going to uni after any one the choices, den i suggest u choose jc, faster route anyway. poly not slack too.

let him choose.. ive seen alot of my friends' brothers/friends failed in As then make a U turn back poly.. sooooo many of them..

definitely not ITE !!! NO WAY WIth your scores!!! Dun't ever think of ite as a choice with your score!! u have no idea wad ite students and their academic/attitude/behavior/ideology/philosophy is like zzz(i mean some of them)...
